Nextel Plans

Selected Service Plans and Pricing

Nextel prides itself on the its Fair and Flexible plans, and fair and flexible is what they are. It is difficult for many competitors to beat the bargains that Nextel offers in terms of minutes allotted. For the 200 minute Nextel plan, you will only spend $29.99/month with unlimited nights and weekends and long distance. However, this plan is a bit overpriced for the Walkie-Talkie feature, which ends up being $0.15 per minute, which we felt was a steep price to pay for this feature. We felt that going for the National Free Incoming Plan was a better choice if the Nextel Walkie-Talkie feature was an important need for your cell phone requirements. The Fair and Flexible plans also include 400, 1000, 1400, and 2000 minute plans, which cost $39.99, $59.99, $79.99, and $99.99, respectively. These are definitely very competitive prices, and are something that we cannot complain about.

There is also a Blackberry Unlimited Email and Web service that is very practical for the on-the-go business user that requires constant connectivity to their email and the internet. At $49.99, this is a great deal considering the amount of flexibility it adds to every business person who demands more from a cell phone than just voice capabilities.

When it comes down to it, though, the best plan to go for is the National Free Incoming Plan. For 300, 500, 800, and 1000 minutes, all your incoming calls will be free, and these price for $39.99, $59.99, $79.99, and $99.99. The best thing about this is that if you have a friend or family member who has a lot of minutes, you can buy the cheapest plan at $39.99 and save yourself a lot of money by having them call you instead of you calling them. We are sure that your wallet cannot complain about this great value.
