Boost Mobile PlansSelected Service Plans and Pricing Pros: The phones are very trendy, everyone loves the way they look, even the older people! All phones come with a speaker phone and various features and applications within. The option of adding a camera phone, mp3 player, and voice and/or video recorder is also a nice option for the user to consider. As noted before, Boost Mobile uses a rate feature where you “pay as you go”. What is better for you? The answer to that is that it depends on your personal use for your phone as well as your habits. For occasional and inconsistent talking amounts, you wouldn’t be able to purchase a normal set carrier plan that you can fully utilize every month, and in some cases you may even go over your plan and be charged an extra fee. If this is the case you may want to consider Boost Mobile as a reasonable option. This way you can have your phone acts much like a credit card, where your minutes are counted independently and billed separately verses a flat rate. The standard rate that Boost Mobile is 20 cents for one weekday minute, and 10 cents for nights (9pm to 7am) and weekend minutes (Saturday & Sunday). Another thing to consider about Boost Mobile is their minutes are universal for all calls, local or long distant, in network or roaming, it’s all the same flat rate! You no longer have to worry about dropped calls from roaming rates or calling someone back because your phone doesn’t support national coverage! How relieving is that? Cons: Daytime prices can be pricy and can add up to a large bill if you’re a frequent daytime talker. Try to cut the daytime minutes short and talk on boost time. The small selection of phones to chose from limit your options and the phones can be a bit expensive as well. |
